Youth Wheelchair Basketball

The Steel City Swish junior wheelchair basketball team is a collaborative program run by the Pittsburgh Steelwheelers and The HOPE Network.

Who is eligible to play?

To be eligible to play, the athlete must have a physical disability that impairs lower limb functionality, be 21 years of age or younger, and enrolled in a high school program.

Practices

Practices are coordinated and led by coaches and players on the Pittsburgh Steelwheelers adult wheelchair basketball team. Contact us for an up-to-date practice schedule.

The Steel City Swish is organized and run through volunteer efforts, supported by donations of time and money from friends, family, and the community.
